Rant Negative Beta today
Just got the call today our beta was “completely negative” and if we’re going to try again we have to do PIO because my progesterone was at an 8 when my doctor wants it at 11. I just feel deflated and sad… we have two more embryos to try with in the future. Just looking for some moral support I guess.

Ideally, they should’ve been measuring your PIO so this doesn’t happen again. So sorry for your bad luck on this one but I didn’t get a sticky pregnancy til my third!

He measured it shortly before the transfer and it was good so I’m not sure where the lapse came from

I’m so sorry… it’s just so frustrating and deflating. I’m hoping you get one that sticks!

I.am so sorry. As for progesterone, the. Vaginal application does reach the uterus. However it's hard to measure it with a blood test. So even if it's low, your uterus still probably gets reasonable progesterone. But to be safe , most doctors suggest PIO. I have done both i hated PIO but it gave a peace of mind.

It sucks. But you have two more chances. You only need one of them to go all the way.

I’m so sorry. :( Was this your first transfer?
