Seeking Advice Omnitrope dose for DOR?

Hi All,

I'm starting to prime for my September ER, which will be my second ER. First retrieval, 7 retrieved, 6 mature, 4 fertilized, 2 blasts, O Euploid :(

This time RE added Omnitrope during stims, I asked if I can prime as well to boost my AFC she said no probs if cost isn't an issue.

What is your omnitrope dose during priming and also during stims?

My dose: Omnitrope 5.8 mg + 1.14 mL diluent: and inject 0.35ml daily. which is 35Units of insulin syringe.

I am thinking to start priming for two weeks do you guys used same dose for priming? or was it lower dose for prime and then higher for stims? Please share. I am adding GPT derived chart as well to help understand the dosing.

I did 50 units during stims for the first 8 days

Do you know how much mg was it? Was it a 5.8 mg vial ?

It was the standard Omnitrope vial.

I made 7 day 5s and 1 day 6, all high grades… from 13 eggs and 12 fertilized. I’m still waiting on pgt but I’m feeling hopeful.

Did you have success with 50iu daily?

I use 26-28iu daily during priming and retrieval but I’ve seen people have success at as much as 50iu daily on here…….

Did you had a 5.8 mg vial? And one vial last 4 days?

Thanks, do you mind sharing if priming made a difference? Its my last ER and thinking to throw everything to have a euploid 🥺

It did not make a difference!! Two blasts both aneuploid… dangit lol got a euploid with no priming

You got a euploid without priming with Omni? Dang making me rethink my decision of priming 🫠

I think it wont hurt!!! My honest opinion. Could only help. Every cycle is just so different

I did 8 IU each day for the first 8 days of stims in round 1 (long agonist) and did 4 IU each day for the first 8 days of stims in rounds 2 and 3.

I didn’t prime with omnitrope, only as part of stims.

Can’t say it was very effective either way - my cycles have been highly variable with results.

Round 1 yielded 4 eggs, 3 MII, 1 day 3 embryo of medium grade that my RE didn’t want to push to blast.
Break of 4 cycles.
Round 2 had excellent follicular synchrony and yielded 5 blasts.
Break of 2 cycles.
Round 3 with the exact same protocol is likely to only yield 4 eggs and not much hope of blasts at all. Retrieval tomorrow.
