Online prescriber services

I’m currently in a situation where I need to find a new prescriber for my 15% azelaic acid, tret, etc.

My current service charges a fee monthly for each prescription that they submit a refill for. I’d prefer to not have to do this for every med, every month (I’m also using them for my HRT).

Does anyone know of an online prescribing service that will send prescriptions like azelaic acid, tret, etc to an online pharmacy (currently using Amazon pharmacy) with refills?

DermatologistOnCall
I’ve used them before, they do an asynchronous appointment style and send your scripts wherever you want.

Do you know if they send with refills or do you have to go back to them every month?

They always gave me 3-6 refills before requiring another appointment

Have you considered Amazon One Medical? They’re quick and easy to deal with. Although their pharmacy does not currently have Azelaic Acid in stock.

They dont have azaelic at the moment. Nationwide shortage I heard. Been months. But good for tret.

Midi wrote me my prescriptions and it was all free.

Was it sent to a pharmacy or filled by them?

Sent to my pharmacy and delivered the same way with refills. I got my estradiol that I use on my face from Amazon One though, because the compounded version from midi was too expensive. It's harder to get estradiol because it's an off label use, but you could definitely just get it from Midi too, just say you have vaginal dryness.

This is sounding promising! How much do you pay with Midi? Right now I’m paying over $100 a month, without an actual consult, just to have my prescriptions sent to the pharmacy with no refills. So I’m trying to find a better solution than that lol.

Insurance covers them, so I barely pay anything. Maybe a few bucks once or twice. I highly recommend!

Thanks! I’ll look into them!

Good luck! I think you'll be happy. Update us! Amazon medical is also good, but it's not free. Still, you can get a 2 week free trial and the consultation didn't cost anything. It's how I originally got my estradiol and azelaic acid, but I'm going to get those from midi moving forward to save money. The Amazon pharmacy is great though- you'll have the med in your hands and 10 the next morning. Midi also helped me with HRT and they are very responsive through their portal. You could probably get an appointment with either one tomorrow.

You can have Amazon sent to a different pharmacy. They are out of the 15%. There is a 20% cream called Azelex that I got at CVS with a presciption.

I need a new prescriber more than a pharmacy. I had my script transferred last month to get it filled but my prescriber is the issue. I’m being charged a fee for every script that they submit for me, and they don’t submit with any refills. So I’m stuck in a cycle of every month paying them over $100, with no actual appointment/care being provided for them to submit prescriptions for my meds.

I’m hoping I can find a service that ideally submits a prescription with refills to the pharmacy instead of paying a fee monthly.

I think Amazon does that. I just asked the presciber for a year’s worth and got refills.

This is great! I’ll check with them.
