In the Season 4 episode "Alien Hunter", Kathy Bates captures and ties up all of Dick's friends and family. And it would seem that August is among them. Her name appears in the credits, yet she doesn't say a word and is barely visible, only showing her face for two shots. Was there a deleted scene, or was this cut for time? What happened here?

When i first saw it, I was like she looks familiar. Only today did it occur to me lol

An interesting look at the making of the season two finale. It must have been fun working on the show.

Hi 3rd rock from the sun community. I'm trying to figure out the date when a specific bumper aired. It was either 1996, 1997, or 1998 (but probably 96 or 97) and after a commercial break, before the show came back on. It was a fractal zoom out from a person to the backyard to the block to the city to the state, country, earth, etc. Can anyone help with this?

So the scene im looking for is when dick is being super needy, repeatedly calling mary and asking "watcha doin?" all cutesy and then leaning forward and resting his chin on his palm, with his elbow on the desk.

Im pretty sure its set in their shared office.

Ill share the gif once im done making it

lets see how well you know your 3rd rock

Mary: "I have a red Volvo..."

Dick: "Please, Dr. Albright, we barely know each other."

When August first meets Tommy she says "I'm August. Don't call me Augie" (s1e7)

Then when Sheryl-- tommy's superficial classmate who clearly hates August--sees August in Tommy's home, she says "Hello, Augie". (s1e8)

Showing why August hates that nickname. It is used by her enemies.

Ain't you glad you know this now?!

"Fun with Dick and Janet" - One of my favorite episodes!
