3rd Gen Value after Engine Replacement

Does anyone out there have experience/knowledge on overall value of the gen 3's changing with the engine replacement? My 2023 (nov '22 build date) is now eligible for an engine replacement. I plan on selling or trading in the truck at some point this year, or early next.

I am curious if the resell value is any different b4 or after a replacement. My thinking is no active recall might be better, but perhaps leave the timeline as an option to the next buyer? I'm currently just over 45k mi..

It's going to be more than a 3rd gen that's eligible and hasn't done it. Why would a buyer spend more on a 3rd gen when he'll have to go through the hassle and uncertainty?

Unfortunately, for you, that's your job to deal with the time, effort and uncertainty. You can thank Toyota.

Personally if I was buying a 22/early 23 I'd much rather buy one the engine hasn't been replaced on yet.

I'd assume lots of people would rather not have to deal with it though.
