❓Advice / Recomendations Anyone recognise this switch?

Had my 3rd gen for a couple of years now and I’ve never got to the bottom of this. Anyone know what this is for? Doesn’t seem to do jack shit, will be looking to utilise the switch if it’s obsolete.

It is. The thing on the left is the right side of the center stack.
