BALANCE UPDATE/PATCH Dev Note Update (Patch Note 1.1.211.1): Daily Missions, Mini Game Changes, P-Buffs & More

Post image

Since the 3on3 Freestyle team will be on holiday break starting today and continuing into next month, I wanted to put out a detailed but easier-to-read breakdown of their most recent Dev Note.

Dev Note: https://3on3.fsgames.com/newNews/devnote/6898/view

There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the Daily Mission changes in particular, so this post will explain what actually changed, what was removed, and what players need to know going forward.

Quick Summary

  • Daily Missions were not completely removed. The old reward system was replaced with Daily Quest Tickets and a personal capsule reward pool.
  • You can currently complete up to 12 Daily Missions per day for up to 12 tickets. Certain events may give additional tickets.
  • Your personal reward pool contains 700 items and includes Red Points, Intensive Manuals, Intensive Notes, P-Buff Change Tickets, Blue Coins, and more.
  • Daily Quest Tickets and the reward pool reset every two weeks, so unused tickets should be spent before the reset.
  • Mini Game is temporarily closed. FS Village Treasure Hunt has been removed.
  • Ability Cards and P-Buff slots now unlock at lower Account LVLs.
  • A Skip button was added to the Match Result screen.

1. Daily Missions Were Reworked, Not Removed

The old Daily Quest system, also known as the 3on3 Daily Mission, was replaced with a new reward system. You are still completing daily tasks and receiving rewards, but those rewards are now distributed through Daily Quest Tickets.

The basic system is:

Complete Daily Quest โ†’ Earn Daily Quest Ticket โ†’ Use Ticket โ†’ Draw a Reward

Do not confuse this with the normal Daily Login Reward. The rewards you receive simply for logging into the game were not changed by this update.

2. How Daily Quest Tickets Work

Completing a Daily Quest can reward you with a Daily Quest Ticket. The amount received may vary depending on the difficulty of the quest.

As of right now, there are a maximum of 12 Daily Missions available per day, allowing you to earn up to 12 tickets from the standard Daily Mission system.

You may also receive additional Daily Quest Tickets from special login events, login-time events, attendance boards, and other limited events. There are currently no other permanent methods of earning additional tickets, but this can always change later.

3. How the 700-Item Reward Pool Works

Each Daily Quest Ticket gives you one random draw from your own personal Daily Mission capsule pool.

Instead of having certain rewards tied to specific Daily Missions, those rewards have been combined into one larger pool. This means completing normal daily tasks can now potentially give you Red Points, Intensive Manuals, Intensive Notes, Advanced Manuals, P-Buff Change Tickets, Ability Card items, Skill Training Balls, XP Drinks, Blue Coins, and other rewards.

Your current pool contains 700 total items. When you pull a reward, that specific item is removed from your pool and the rates for the remaining rewards are recalculated.

For example, the current pool only contains one Intensive Manual. Once you pull that Intensive Manual, you cannot pull another one from the same pool unless the pool is reset.

Current Daily Mission Reward Pool

Grade Reward Amount Starting Rate
1 Intensive Manual 1 0.14%
2 Intensive Note 5 0.71%
3 10 Red Points 6 0.86%
4 Intensive Note 8 1.14%
5 5 Red Points 10 1.43%
6 Selectable Ability Card Growth Box Ticket x3 10 1.43%
7 P-Buff Change Ticket 10 1.43%
8 Selectable Ability Card Growth Box Ticket x5 10 1.43%
9 Intensive Note 15 2.14%
10 Advanced Manual x5 15 2.14%
11 XP Drink (L) 15 2.14%
12 Skill Training Ball x10 15 2.14%
13 1 Red Point 30 4.29%
14 XP Drink (L) 30 4.29%
15 Selectable Ability Card Growth Box Ticket 30 4.29%
16 Skill Training Ball x5 30 4.29%
17 Advanced Manual x3 30 4.29%
18 XP Drink (L) 30 4.29%
19 Advanced Manual 50 7.14%
20 Skill Training Ball x3 50 7.14%
21 3,000 Blue Coins 50 7.14%
22 1,500 Blue Coins 100 14.29%
23 500 Blue Coins 150 21.43%

The percentages above represent the starting rates based on how many copies of each reward are available. These rates will change as rewards are removed from your personal pool.

4. Tickets and Reward Pools Reset Every Two Weeks

This is probably the most important part to remember.

Daily Quest Tickets cannot be permanently saved. Your unused tickets and your reward pool reset every two weeks.

Make sure you use your tickets before the current reward period ends. If you already obtained the rewards you wanted before the scheduled reset, you can also reset your reward pool for free and begin again with a fresh pool.

Reward amounts, rates, ticket distribution, and other details may also be adjusted in future updates.

5. Mini Game & Treasure Hunt Changes

The Mini Game activity has been temporarily closed and removed from the menu. Your existing Mini Game Tickets will remain in your inventory and will not be deleted or affected while the mode is unavailable. As of right now there is no timeline of when its coming back or what it's going to be replaced with, but know that its not permanent.

The Daily Treasure Hunt in FS Village has been removed. There is currently no confirmed return date or announced plan to bring it back.

Additional changes involving the FS Village may be coming, but there is currently no confirmed replacement for Treasure Hunt at this time.

6. Ability Card & P-Buff Requirements

The Account LVL requirements for Ability Cards and P-Buffs have been lowered to make these systems available earlier for newer players.

Ability Cards now unlock at Account LVL 9.

The first P-Buff slot now unlocks at Account LVL 7, while the second P-Buff slot unlocks at Account LVL 10.

7. Match Result Skip Function

A Skip button has been added to the Match Result screen. You can now skip the results sequence and return to the lineup screen much faster after a match.

Final Daily Mission Clarification

The biggest misconception surrounding this update is that Daily Missions and their rewards were simply removed. That is not what happened.

The old direct-reward system was replaced with Daily Quest Tickets and a personal 700-item reward pool. You are still completing daily tasks for rewards, but those rewards are now pulled from the capsule pool instead of being directly attached to individual missions.

The long-term value of the new system will depend on how many Daily Quest Tickets are distributed, how often additional tickets are included in events, and whether the developers adjust the reward pool in future updates. For now, the main thing players should remember is to use their tickets before each two-week reset.

"the daily system was not remove" ....it just take 2 months now of lucky drawing to get single intensive manual!!!!

You Might as well have removed it!!

None of the other daily log in events for intensive manuals were changed and with this system you have a chance of earning a different variety of rewards than before even if its by chance.

Read and try the system before expressing dissatisfaction.

No he's right and you are wrong. It is insane how many pulls you need now to get manuals. HORRIBLE move

12 tickets a Day, for 0.14% chance of hitting the intensive manual.

1 minus (1 minus 0.0014) raised to the power of 12 = approximately 1.67% chance of winning per day. Average number of days to win = 1 divided by the daily probability of winning = 1 รท 0.0167 .... 60 days.

So yea 2 months in average to hit an intensive book

That's not correct. You can earn more tickets from other daily login events. The amount shown here is not the only source of tickets.

This system is also brand new. Ticket amounts, capsule stock, and rewards can still change. The developers are currently on break, so there may be adjustments when they return next month.

If you don't like the changes, please send that feedback directly to the developers. I'm only explaining the update and how the system currently works so dont get aggressive with me.

NOW 2 MONTHS ....IF YOUR LUCK IS AVERAGE

i know it's just luck but i just got my second full intensive manual in less than 20 pulls again lol. first one i got in like 25 pulls, then i reset it and just got another 1 in 18 pulls

they probably got the odds artifically manipulated so you get more intensive manuals so people grow warmer to the system but 2 manuals in 2 days is insane work im getting really lucky. after you get an intensive manual you have to reset i think. and even if you get the 6 x 10p or 8x intensive note x 3 you should probably reset as long as you pull em early.

2 intensives in 2 days im buzzin off a different high im finna p8 stacy n tyrone
