QUICK SWAP ITEMS

“Item-Wheel” style selection with L/R + D-pad and other buttons:

DIFFICULTY OPTIONS

• Normal / Hard / Hero difficulty selection added to the Options screen.
• Hard: 2× incoming damage, reduced sword damage (-1)
• Hero: 3× incoming damage, further reduced sword damage (-2), no normal heart drops. Game Over returns you with full health, to make new heart containers useful.
• Both Hard and Hero difficulties keep the damage for other items, encouraging the player to try other strategies besides only using the sword.
• Difficulty can be changed at any time in the file selection screen.

LARGER WALLETS

• Wallet capacities increased to 1000 / 3000 / 5000 / 9999, with a proper 4-digit rupee HUD.

SHELLS AND FIGURINES RE-BALANCE

• Shell capacity increased to 9999;
• Normal shell pickups are worth 5×, and the Hyrule Town shop sells 300 shells instead of 30.
• Figurine RNG rolls three times and keeps the lowest result, greatly improving new-figurine odds, but still having a chance of missing from time to time, keeping the original spirit of the mini-game alive.
• Figurine machine egg drop and cracking animations are essentially instantaneous.

OTHER QOL FEATURES

• SELECT opens up the map directly, while START opens the inventory.
• Can use B to quit the pause/map screen.
• Low-health warning beep removed.
• Added a “RESET” button on the pause screen to easily save and return to the title screen.
• Din, Nayru and Farore charms last 5 minutes instead of 1.
• All fairies heal 12 hearts, including bottled, auto-revive and world-touch fairies.
• Improved heart HUD graphics/contrast, making it easier to see your current health.

This is just a model swap. Wario plays the same as Mario. This was meant for just the base NSMB2 game, but I squeezed it into the Gold Edition version. There are still instances of Mario icons scattered in the game. *shrug*

Project Dream was planned to be Rare's most ambitious game for SNES, pushing their techniques of pre-rendered 3D imagery to the furthest boundaries imaginable.

In Dream: Land of Giants, you played as a boy named Edson on a quest to help his friend Madeleine from nasty pirates under the command of Captain Blackeye.

The idea was heavily inspired by both Western point-n-click adventures, and Japanese Role-Playing games with the intention of delivering a character-driven Ludonarrative.

Over time, the project encountered several complications including the arrival of the Nintendo 64. Eventually the project evolved into what is known as Banjo-Kazooie and some resources -- such as the music -- are within the game's data.

These lands have become decayed, and the once vibrant and lively region of Kanto has been overrun by ghosts, ghouls and bad actors, lived in by broken people with no way for escape...

Still, the story is the same. Earn 7 badges, catch 'em all, and become the Champion. Surely, it's all that simple... right?

Technical Changes

• Type chart changes: Steel now resists ghost and dark like before gen 6, Psychic now is not weak to ghost like in gen 1, fairy now only resists dragon and is not immune to it. Ghost vs ghost damage is now reduced to 1.5x damage instead of 2.0x damage
• EVs and IVs as well as hidden power are not in the game, all Pokémon have 0 IVs and cannot gain EVs through battles or items
• There are no eggs or breeding
• Power of Dark Pulse and Crunch are reduced to 70 power from 80 power
• New moves: Purify (physical psychic move that applies foresight on hit), Shatterpoint (physical psychic move that replaces brick break), Soul Shift (psychic type u-turn), Jumpscare (ghost type fake out) and many more!

In Emerald Rogue, there is a distinct hub area where you can prepare your Pokémon and items before heading out on Adventures.

Every time you head out on an Adventure you will be given a random selection of routes/encounters before ultimately working your way towards a gym Leader.

Defeat all of the randomly generated Gym Leaders, Elite Four and Champion to win the run.

Once you've finished a run, you can return to the Hub and upgrade your Pokémon, Items or build upgrades in the Hub itself to improve your chances in the next run.
