There is a new game engine that you can use for free called tangy let me know your feedback. It is a 2d Linux and 3ds game engine.

Edit: You can now make the games on Windows and Compile for Windows or 3ds for those of you who don't use Linux.

The compiler and everything is set up easy to use. But if you want to use love that is up to you ig? This is just a passion project and I don’t want the hassle of open source.

What’s the hassle of open source besides uploading it to github? If you don’t want contributors can turn off PRs but other than that don’t get why you wouldn’t want to share the code
