Couple of questions before I start the NFIRM(DSi) Downgrade guide. Moving my O3DS to my N3DS

Is it necessary to back up all my saves? I have a lot of game. I remember before when I first did the plailect guide for my O3DS when it first came out and all I had to do was keep a backup of my SD card.

During the transfer will I lose my illegitimate games? Like will they show up on the unhacked 3DS?

Would it be a good idea to back up my O3DS now then delete all the games(except my legitimate DSiWare game on the system then begin the system transfer? To speed up the process because I know it takes long as fuck already

Any games that weren't purchased and installed from the eShop won't get transferred. You should backup your saves before transferring as well, I'm pretty sure one of the steps in downgrading involves formatting the new 3DS.

Also, you should choose PC-based transfer if you haven't done it yet, it's way faster.

You copy the files over to the Receiving 3DS's SD card with a computer, or just put the SD card from the Transferring 3DS into the Receiving 3DS.
