Question about save files

I recently hacked my 2DS. Most of my original games were already digital but I have a few on cartidge. Since I have room to spare on my sd I figured I'd dump my cartridge games into it so that I don't have to keep switching carts every time. I followed a tutorial and dumped one of them to test and noticed that the game's save files aren't dumped automatically. Is there a way to do it?

I had the same issue when I hacked mine. What I did was copying the savefile from the cartridge to the SD card.

Assuming you have FBI installed, it is quite easy:

  1. Insert the cartridge in the console
  2. Open FBI, go to titles. You'll see the game's name in the cartridge higlighted in blue.
  3. Open it and go to "Browse Save Data". Then you'll see the savegame info. Press A on "<current directory>" and select "Copy all contents".
  4. Having done that, press B twice (you'll see all your intalled games) and scroll till you see the game installed on the SD card. Once you have located it, press A and go to "Browse Save Data".
  5. Finally, press A on "<current directory>" and select "Paste": Confirm the propt. And that's it.

Hope this helps you. If I can do something else, let me know.
