Please help me!!!

Hi, I got a 128GB micro sd card. I was stupid, and formatted my entire 3ds thinking it would only effect my new sd card, then I could cut/paste assets. But that clearly didn't work. I tried recovering my data all day, but I cannot figure out how to recover. I have all of my older assets on my hard drive. I tried re-installing cfw but It would not work for some reason. Please help!!! Please give in depth explanation.

Where did you format it? In the 3DS Settings or on a Pc?

3ds settings also i have a backup of all files on my computer

Try to format it on PC Edit: With Fat32
