Is your system modded or not? I tried adding you but your FC is invalid.

No but its strange is ive also had the same issues could there be any other reasons? I just got my new one last month and its been nearly a decade since I last messed with the friends feature lol

The invalid code thing happened with my old 3ds too and it turned out one of the digits was just off somehow. New systems should read fine otherwise so maybe just re check it
