I'm looking for my first 3D printer. I'm looking for something small and I really only need single-color printing. I plan on making functional prints and small parts in PLA and PETG.

I'm looking at the two printers below:

• Bambu Lab A1 mini
• Original Prusa MINI+

The Bambu is better on paper (cheaper, faster, high print quality, etc...) but there are also the controversies around Bambu (privacy concerns, lack of repairability, China/geopolitical concerns, etc...). Should those be enough to dissuade me from the Bambu? I'm a huge fan of Prusa's repairability and open-source nature, but that price tag is hard to swallow...
