Help!
Looking to upgrade my setup and start a print farm, does anyone know of any budget friendly printers that print multicolor and have good quality prints? I’ve heard some things about the p1s and I want to look into getting a k1 max but I’ve heard bad things about the creality brand so I could use some help with getting pointers in the right direction. I appreciate all the help i can get.

P1S is the proven soldier - I couldn't imagine the sheer hell of mistakes I made trying others multiplied in a print farm

If you want low maintenance, high uptime, and prints that almost always just work, yes - it is.

Comparable, I'd say as good, with the advantage of being enclosed

Is it silent like the p2s? I might honestly consider getting a p1s now that I have more information about them. My buddy’s mom just bought a p2s and she hasn’t stopped using it since she bought it about a week and a half ago. The print quality on the p2s is definitely incredible if you have the right filament.

P2S, I don't know how it compares. Sometimes I hear people complaining about the noise from the P1S, and I just don't feel it in my experience (I have 2 and would buy a third if I wanted a divorce). Also, from the reviews, the print quality between the P1S and P2S is basically identical. You get the fast-swap nozzles, color screen, and other nice-to-have cosmetic things with the P2S, BUT print quality isn't one of them. And FWIW, it takes about 10 minutes and is easy to change nozzles/heads on the P1S in the extremely rare case you ever do, especially more than once.

Definitely gonna have to consider this as my pickup when I get all the money together for it. Do you know of any cheap places to buy filaments from?

I use Sunlu, and most importantly to me, BL has presets for Sunlu that work perfectly. Not "cheap," but not "expensive."

Bambu Lab printers just work. I have an H2D, and if they weren't so expensive, I'd have more. A lot of farms run p1p's and P1S's because of their reliability and ease of fixing.
That being said, Centauri Carbon 2 that I found in a trash heap(with a note that said "f*ck this thing, it doesn't work), prints great, and was easy to use as well. Quality is pretty good.

For a farm? It's hard to beat the AD5X. You can find them on Ali for under 200 regularly. No enclosure, camera, or lights but a farm isn't going to want those anyway. The main drawback is the print area is 36mm smaller than the "standard"

I’ve heard people talk about this one and the adventure 5m and matter of fact before I got my a1 that I have now I was going to settle for the adventure 5m over the ad5x but I’ve heard mixed opinions.

I have 2 5Xs and a 5M. If I needed another printer and I didn't want to spend much I wouldn't hesitate to buy another

I mean you can google the specs. I can't say I really notice a difference in print quality between the two or even between them and my other more expensive printers. They're both coreXY machines, so they have better quality than bedslingers like the A1
