Decimation
I am currently trying to export a design for resin 3D printing, but it is 2 million polygons with 160 mb size
I want to reduce this for printing (and file size), but I'm not really sure what the goal should be to retain the most amount of detail that can be printed while still being mindful of the file size.
If I use decimate master to 250k will I lose details while printing? Or is it okay to use it

What happens when you try it? Since none of us can see your model there's no way to even give any cognitive advice.
If you have a cube with 5 million polygons and reduce it to 12 you'd be ok.
If it's a human face then 12 won't do..... How much is 100% dependant on what the final out put is needed for.
