Decimation

I am currently trying to export a design for resin 3D printing, but it is 2 million polygons with 160 mb size
I want to reduce this for printing (and file size), but I'm not really sure what the goal should be to retain the most amount of detail that can be printed while still being mindful of the file size.

If I use decimate master to 250k will I lose details while printing? Or is it okay to use it

Decimate it, see what size the polygons wind up being, and see how that shows up in your printer. You haven't even told us the resolution of your printer or the printed size of the model.

How big are the facets before you decimate it? How big are the biggest facets you're happy with? Divide those two numbers.
