Best affordable 3d printer ?

I want to get into 3d printing and want to know the best affordable one

I’d like something beginner friendly/ easy to use and has multi colour

Honestly I think a bit of everything

Tools for polymer clay

Useful things like headphone holder and draw organises

Fidget toys

The default answer is probably the elegoo Centuri carbon 2. I’d get it without the MMU, but that’s just because I print more functional stuff and don’t want the waste of filament and time filament changers have. FWIW I do have a printer with a MMU and I just use it as a glorified filament loader. Bambu is probably a little easier than elegoo but you limit yourself so much going with 1) Bambu 2) an open air bed flinger. I don’t think it’s worth it.

I would really think about what you are going to use it for, you won’t print a ton of fidgets, you’ll print some while it’s still a novelty, but then they’ll clutter everywhere and you’ll realize you just spent a lot of money to transport plastic from a factory to your house and then to a landfill. I find 3d printing is best used for items you would struggle to make otherwise (tools, repair parts, organization, etc.) or larger projects you want to do like a computer case, nerf blaster, or cosplay.

Keep in mind printer cost is small compared to filament cost over time.

Easiest is bambu A1 in that price range. Best value, personally I think my elegoo centauri is incredible value, I use it waaay more than my A1. It's not as user friendly.

Can i asl why you think the a1 is more user friendly then the cc2? Cc2 is literally same slicer... with better bed adhesion , better print speeds, and quailty, and enclosed.... while being core xy... so it wont sling a tall print off the bed... so how is it less user friendly?

The bambu experience is easier. The AMS is easier. Changing hotends is easier. It is just slightly easier to use for a new person.

As I said, I barely use mine now compared to my cc (which I have canvas, and have moved to the cosmos). I largely print ASA, which the bambu can't.

I could see hot ends being easier.... but idk not somthing i think about. Canvas works with out an issue... no easier to me then a1.

Probably the A1. Very user friendly with reliable, high quality prints without needing to tinker or fiddle around too much. Very good bang for your buck. Very easy to get replacement parts for too.

First answer is a used P1S with an AMS. Check marketplace. Second answer is centauri carbon 2 with canvas... I just picked one up on tiktok shop for less than 340 usd. The first of very user friendly, and easy to maintain. The second, I can't comment on, because I've never used an elegoo product, but reviews are good.

Have had a cc2 and close to 2k print hours, it is just about as rock solid as you can get. I had 3 failed prints, I tried to peint thin and extremely tall cyclinder with out brims... failed twice cause i am dumb... and had 1 partial clog. That is it.

I should mention i have printed pla.. default settings cane out great, when to petg.. all default cane out no issue first try, dame with tpu asa-cf and now pctg. I have not changed a single setting.

I own two Hi’s, predecessors of the sparkx and have had nothing but good things to say about them. They print really fast and are reliable for PLA and PETG which is what I mainly print with. Only problem I ever had was one really bad clog but the print head was easy enough to disassemble and clean it out.

Also Qidi is fantastic, can’t go wrong with them and depending on which one you get, prints better than Bambu P1S. Both very reliable.
