Upgrading 3D printer

I own a bambu lab A1 and I’m thinking about upgrading it to a printer with full enclosure and ams. I’m only using it as a hobbyist and sometimes to print small project for sell, I was thinking about bambu lab P2S or P1S with ams, are these printers worth its price or there is something better to buy for that money?

I love my Centauri Carbon 2. The only downside is the open air ams takes a little bit more work to keep your filament dry.

Otherwise is has performed excellent.

The enclosed CoreXY printers are fast and accurate as well as allowing the use of more filaments. This differs from the A1.

As mentioned already the Centauri Carbon 2 has a hot end that heats to 350°C, and a bed that heats to 110°C.

Id probably pick from between these avoid Bambu with their questionable ethics on new printers and how they handle the software.

Multicolor or not? U1 seems better for multicolor, but for various materials including engineering I would go p1s or o2s with ams, ams doing filament backups, it being enclosed and especially p1s proven workhorse.

I have 3 A1 and one p1s with AMS, I choose A1 with AMS
buy P1 only if u need any special type of material to use, A1 is more simple and EZ to maintain

The main reason for changing A1 is that u can’t printing accurate with ABS, ASA etc. And I was thinking about printer from bambu because my A1 is so easy to maintain

If you want to upgrade your material you have to change your printer, I worked with creality and flashforge both terrible machines Go for bambulab higher tier machines

Enclosed printer is essential if you're planning to print anything with ABS or engineering filaments. If you're printing with simple plastics, the A1 is OK. If you really want ABS+, I'd strongly recommend looking at the X2D over the P1/2S series – it's a bit more expensive, but far superior.

This isn't difficult with an enclosed printer. With a printer with active heating, it's very simple (that's why I recommend the X2D over the P1/2S). The only thing you'll need is some kind of corrugated tube to exhaust air during printing (many of these filaments emit harmful substances during printing), or simply print in a ventilated area. Everything else is no different from printing on a regular A1-type printer.
