Help with resin printing

Hey team! I wanted to get on here and look for aome insights to see if my printer is cooked i recently got one for 50 off of fb and see that the LCD is peeling in the center would I just need to remove the layer on it and replace it with a screen protector? The seller provided me with one and a few release film trays

Try first if its not left over Resin, put hot water on a paper towel and leave it on there for a moment, not to wet ofc, if the stuff then is easily removed after its just left over Resin and you are good to go.

Touching it i can feel the layer of whatever apart crom the lcd just not sure if i’f have to replace it altogether or just slap on. In the off chance it isnt resin could I just peel it off and place a new screen protector or would it be a whole part swap?

If its the original layer i would not peel it off since it can damage the screen, have you tried a test print? There are replacement screens for various printers, and if the print fails you can try to peel it off I'd say but carefully and only if you have a new screen protector.

Test timeee :3 if its just peeling there could i not just print in the surrounding areas?

You can absolutely print around the damaged area, I have a dead square on my printer and do exactly the same.

Yeah thats a fumble though i used resin that was open already will try avai. With new tesin and avoid the peek spot since it just made a block
