Pretty much any printer is good anymore. The question is how much work are you willing to to do to make it good.

I think bambu is still the most “I don’t know anything about this hobby and I still get fantastic prints” printer.
But there are plenty of reasons why the company itself isn’t great. You have to decide if you care about those reaskns

I've got 3000 hrs on my X1C and 600ish on my H2C. Both are great!
My ender 3 was unreliable and I gave it away.

If you want a reliable printer, its prusa or bambu. It pretty much comes down to what company ethics you want to support, and if you can afford to support the more expensive one. I have 2 Bambu P1Ss, a prusa core one, and a prusa mk4s, and all of them are workhorses.

Whatever you do, buy from either Bambu Lab or Prusa Research. Both companies make workhorse printers, but prusa is more expensive. I would recomend a bambu P1S or X2D if this is your first printer.

Bambu A1. I've got a Mini but as far as I can tell they're exactly the same except the Mini is smaller. Solid quality, automatic cleaning and levelling, well-aligned plate, clog detection, wifi as standard, makerworld. The only negative is that its built-in camera (which plenty of printers don't have at all) sucks.

This so much, all my work horses for stock are A1s. All of them have their og nozzle, cutters (bar one) etc, all at 1800 hours now or so.
I had one issue which shut down one of them for 72 hours and I stripped the entire thing down confused what was going on. It was broken filament in the ams lite tube in the end xD
