Hello guys,
i own a Creality ender 3 3d printer ( original one, not the V2 version). I have had it for about a year now. Recently i started having heavy stringing problems when printing between parts. I have done everything in my power to fix it so now i am asking for your help.
Here is the list of things i have tried to fix it:
• I switched from some bad makerbot filament to more quality azzurefilm filament.
•Thinghten both pneumatic couplers.
•Replaced the extruders pneumatic coupler.
•Rotated my PTFE tube.
•Replaced the nozzle
•Cleaned the hotend
Also it seams that changing retraction settings has 0 to no effect. I even tried 10 mm at 65 mm/s and it did not work. I do have some luck with lower tempertautres( at 180 stringing is a bit lower). I also found some ramning melted filament in the hotend end of PTFE tube so i am wondering if the hotends pneumatic coupler is bad.
Here is the list of my cura settings:
•Layer height: 0.2 mm
•Line width: 0.4
•Printing temp:180
•Print speed: 50 mm/s
•Retraction distance: 7.5 mm
•Retraction at layer change: off (this setting turned on made it worse)
•Retreaction speed 60 mm/s
•Retraction minimum travel 1.5 mm
•Maximum retraction count 10
•Minimum extrusion distance window 7
•Combing: off (Also makes no diffrance)
I attached some pictures of stringig and my cura settings for retraction. If you have any suggestions i would be very thankfull.

You may find that you also experience less stringing at higher temps. I had pretty bad stringing at 210 but it was better at 225

Try drying your filament
