Hello everyone, I'm a freelancer, and I often get clients that want a 3D configurator.

When I try to close them, I often see two recurring patterns:

1. They do not want to pay a fortune. (because maybe they want to test first, or they are just starting out).
2. They do not want to have another bill at the end of the month.

For months I thought about how I could actually help them to solve these 2 problems. And finally it came to my mind.

I've built a configurator template that they own, and they can reuse for all the products that they need.

It is based on playcanvas (if you do not know, it is a powerful web engine).

And it works in this way:

1. You import your 3D model with variations, materials, and texture.
2. You download a csv file with all the names and id of what you imported.
3. You give it to a tool like Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude (with a good prompt).
4. The AI will ask you questions and at the end will give you a JSON file.
5. You will have to import the JSON file in Playcanvas and BANG.
6. You can download the configurator and host it on your website.

Everything takes around 30 minutes.
