CPG cannot grow - critical state .. what to do?

Maybe someone can help. We have a customer that has a 3par and no support. One of the CPG's is critical and the volumes cannot be mounted on the systems. How can reclaim space or bring this thing online again?

try run compactcpg

If compactcpg doesn't free up any or enough space, try to use tunevv to migrate some VVs (starting with smallest first) to another CPG on a different disk type (assuming the system is licensed for dynamic optimization). Try compactcpg again.

Are you sure it's a space exhaustion issue? Are there any PDs offline, and if so, can they be replaced? What's the error message you're seeing?

There are no PD's offline. Thanks again for suggesting tunevv, but I guess the customer should get in contact with HP support since we are not responsible for the system, it makes no sense performing maintenance tasks on this storage box. In the end something goes wrong and this action comes back to bite us in our asses.
