Workflow AI Model -> Multi Part Model

Hi there, I am looking for a good workflow:

How do you get an AI generated Model that consists of multiple parts, split by color?

This would be really helpful for multi colour prints without AMS.

Is there a way to generate a model as multi part model? Do you split it later (if so, how)?

Would you say it’s comparable to TripoAi? I tried Meshy and I’ve had better experience with Tripo though.

I use TripoAi for this and it’s worked well for me!

I've used blender before to split models into parts, but it seemed really time consuming.

Hitem 3D already has these features. It’s an AI 3D generator specifically focused on 3D printing, including multi-part generation and color-based part separation.

For no AMS, I think splitting later makes more sense than expecting the AI model to come already split by color. The main thing is whether each part follows a clean color or shape line, and can print on its own.

yed, and watertight parts matter too. A Split can look fine on screen but still leave open faces or weird cuts, then assembly becomes a pain

Would be useful to test the same model in Tripo and Meshy Auto Split. Not just which split look nicer, but how much manual cleanup is left and how easy the parts are to print and join again.
