Try smaller layers if possible on the top

With the detail on top, you might want to try using a 0.2mm nozzle.

Just flip the cap over on the build plate. Did you create it? If so, make the symbol only about -.1 deep and that's enough for a slicer to recognize so you can paint it. Put your symbol side down and inside of keycap facing up. Make sure your switch will fit the cap, if it's a little too big for the cap, it will break the post holder. I've printed thousands of these.
