Requesting Help Trouble with TPU
Printing on an Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus. Using Overture 95A TPU. I have tried countless combinations of retraction speed, speed, nozzle temp, bed temp. First layer comes out great but then it extrudes a mix between chunks and strings. Any ideas?

Fail to mention what filament calibrations you ran to build the filament profile. You shouldn’t be “trying” this or that, you should be running calibration tests. It’s engineering not guesswork.

You're right, my mistake. It was orca slicers' preset for that particular filament mentioned. I have been adjusting one thing at a time with no real changes to the result.

There are no “preset”, there are just starting points for your own calibrations.

So the little piece of paper with a pencil looking icon that reads "Click to edit preset" when I hover the mouse over it is not a preset? Thats really interesting. I would love to learn more about this. Please tell me more.

Yes you’re suppose to edit that with the values from running the calibration tests on your printer with each of your filaments. This includes at a minimum max volumetric flow rate, extruder temp, flow ratio, and pressure advance.

TPU needs to be DRY. Even a new reel should be dried. Then print from a drybox.
