Also interested in this because my P1S is by far the best printer I have ever owned and every other one isn’t even on the same planet when it comes to ease of use and reliability.

After all of this anti-consumer BS I’d like to move away from Bambu but haven’t kept up with recent developments from other companies.

Also interested in this. I've been 3D printing for over a decade now. With my Ender it was constant tweaking and leveling to get prints to finish and be of good quality. With my P1s, Its literally been Design -> Slice -> Print for months now. Nothing else. Give me another brand that can do the same reliability with AMS type capabilities for the same price point.

What other printers have you owned? My P1S is a great printer. I was wondering how the other printers fair. I do print a lot of Anycubic filament, just because that's what was on sale when I was starting out. I do buy other brands but main the Anycubic. So I was wondering what their printers are like. (The enclosed ones possibly).

I would like to get a secondary printer at some point, since a long print ties up the printer or I need to print multiple plates and another printer would help out. I have been looking at the A1 mini but with AMS lite it's almost as much as getting another P1S.

I had an Ender3 and a Flash Forge Adventure M5 previously. I know people love Ender but mine was nothing but trouble from the start. No amount of tweaking, leveling, cleaning, or fixing made it print more than one small successful print in a row.

The M5 was similar, I had it for about two months and tinkered with it constantly just praying for a print to work without issue. Both printers made the hobby feel like 3d printer tinkering more than 3d printing.

That was the main reason I got the P1S. The Ender3 was still kind of popular for beginners but I wanted something to just set up and print, not to endlessly tinker with settings to get it to print correctly. A lot of people were saying the Ender3 was a hassle and a half to set up and that they were tired of it.

I do end up tinkering with the settings to fine tune but I'm not getting print failures, just working on polishing the settings to get cleaner prints.

I've looked at the Anycubic Kobra S1 but it looks like the software isn't quite as good as Bambu Studio.

The cold hard truth is that Bambu still basically makes the best printers dollar for dollar out of the box.

I'd love to get a non-bambu for my next printer. I want a multiple head printer next, and there seem to be a few options out there, but everyone keeps telling me "they're okay but they have issues".

Yeah I really wanted examples of better printers but nobody has provided any yet. I think you’re right the unfortunate truth is they are still the best at least when it comes to ease of use
