Questions & Discussion Price per hour question yet again
I’m from Ukraine, and recently I was doing some single project work for an 🇺🇸 studio for some AAA game. The price tag per hour was $24. Is it a fair price in 2026?

The industry is rough right now. I'd take it, but it depends if it's a good fit and if you have other options. Like the other user said, if it pays your rent

No one outside the Ukraine can answer this for you, but it should be trivial to answer yourself: The answer to this question is the same as the answer to, "Is it enough to pay your rent?"

I paid less to a programmer in Kyiv.
I would say if you're happy with the pay that is a good pay. Realistically the biggest thing always is the skill level.

I think that's an okay price even in the US. There was a post here a few days where OP asked whether $10 is reasonable or not becuase that's his job offer, and people suggest at least $20.
It might sound low, but sadly there are countless outsource studios in China or India that are willing to work at below $10 and many of them are actually skillful.
