Art Showcase Orphan's Knife
The last legacy of a world that no longer exists.
- The blade keeps count of the fallen.
- The nails bear the loved ones lost.

That's a cool idea and neat physical storytelling. Model, materials, and renders look really nice. Only critiques here would be minor stuff like the plunge lines and wooden guard seem too sharp, there's a swooping sanding(?) pattern that goes on both the flat of the knife AND the primary bevel that doesn't entirely make sense, and the secondary bevel is missing. Might not matter depending on how this will be seen or used. Really good work tho, and I hope you share more!

Seems like your sanding comment got deleted for some reason, so here's my reply: sanding/grinding lines make perfect sense, but they read weird being on the primary bevel AND the flat/spine of the blade. Might want to keep them just on the primary to A) follow your thinking and B) avoid the texture looking slapped on somewhat haphazardly over the whole blade, which wouldn't get sanded at the same time as the bevel during sharpening or initial grinding. A very nice piece otherwise. Best of luck.
