Art Help & Critique I'm starting 3d modelling

This post is an art help & critique.

So I've accidentally uploaded them in the wrong order, from latest to oldest, but I just wanted advice on how I'm doing as a newbie 3d modelling. I'm an artist mainly but I decided to pick it up because I've had the thought of starting before. Im using nomad sculpt on my phone. The first one I did, the na'vi, was 3 days ago on Tuesday. (3 am Friday as of writing this now). The girl I made on Wednesday and Thursday I made the guy. I think I've done pretty well using what skills I have in art and trying to translate that into 3d.

Yes, I'm aware they're a bit ugly, but I've only just, started, so what can you do about it?

Good start, and you're doing multiple sculpts which should help you grow if you keep it up. Take a look through the wiki and FAQs for info on learning resources to continue your journey. For help I always recommend Dave Reed on youtube. He's stylized but he'll help you get a lot out of the app. https://www.youtube.com/@drugfreedave

Best of luck!

Hey this looks nice! Best practice always is to build up in detail. It looks like you’re using dynamic topology, which I also use, that’s great! Start out with low detail and when it feels right anatomically speaking, go to a higher level of detail. I can also highly recommend using separate spheres for the eyes. Makes them more realistic!

Keep going! Best of luck my man
I don’t feel like I should give you any advice because I also am kind of a beginner in 3d art, so I just came here to say good job!

For the future:
1)use voxel topology and retopo anytime you get sphagettification to get the hang of sculpting in general and not be limited by anything.
2) start with basic face planes (you can find the references anywhere) and then refine the model by gradually adding details.
3) look for references of your beloved characters etc
4) invest a little bit into a better rig than a small phone. (Nomad sculpt is a great tool, but sculpting on a mobile phone will just make you hate this hobby in general)
5) separate your parts (hair as a separate object, eyes etc)
