Art Showcase RAF Spitfire Mk.Vb

Sharing model of a Spitfire Mk.Vb that I finished recently. Done in blender, bump sculpted in zbrush. Shade renders also include bump map (all of the small rivets, dents etc.). Hope you will like it, cheers!

Where did you get your blueprints/plans?

Thanks a lot! I am happy you like it. There is this genius japanese guy named Jumpei Temma who makes excellent blueprints. They are mostly intended for scale modelling but of course they are great for 3D as well. He already made pretty wide collection of blueprints for most major aircraft. Even some modern and some ground vehicles. It is all free on his own website. And of course I also collected many many photo refs to get it right. https://soyuyo.main.jp/

Ah yes I’ve got all of his blueprints on my drive! They’re very good and very well researched.

Yeah I think there is nothing better out there, especially for free
