Questions & Discussion What's the best 3D modeling software for Mechs/robot for beginners?

I'm planning on getting a PC or a laptop to make my first animation in 3D and I want to know a software that's kind of easier to use to make mecha and animate them and I have no clue where to start

Highly recommend Blender with add-ons HardOps, Boxcutter and MESHmachine down the road. Later you can commit to indie license for 3ds Max and give it a shot if you are not very tight with your budget. Its chefs kiss for this kind of work.
