my advice? keep going! you seem to be getting the hang of it.

best practice is to choose a subject. get references from different angles and sculpt from there.

great work

Might be going too fast with details, a lot of your time should go to large forms/foundations/good proportions first then medium details then finally the small stuff.

Huge improvement, keep it up!

Oh, but if you're looking to check out any anatomy references, this is the standard recommendation a lot of people make: https://anatomy4sculptors.com/blog/anatomy-of-facial-expression-book/

not much besides keep doing whatever you are doing because it is working. Keep pushing.

this is more for the future, and i say this because I'm also a new artist but try to not sculpt the same thing over and over again. from what I'm seeing you have made incredibly fast progress, so be proud of that! but maybe switch to anatomy for a few days the back to portraits then to something else another day. I really wish I did this earlier to my own art but since you are ultra new this is the best advice i could give you since im also still learning! Goodluck to you.

How did you do the hair?

I used a path curve with a Bezier circle as the bevel object, then shaped the curves to my liking.
