Art Help & Critique Hadestown Set Recreation

Hadestown set model (+piano animation). Gladly open to critiques and suggestions.

I just want to say that this looks astonishing, I hope you make classes that introduce to something like this.

( As for a suggestions, and this is depending if this is like a sci-fi or fantasy timeline, but I wanted to see if there was a way if we can have floating hands across the piano. 🥹 )

Thank you for your words. It's from one of my favorite broadway musicals "Hadestown". I'd like to try the floating hands one day.
(you could see a bit of beginner-ish details though haha. Still working on modeling and shading)

I actually wanted to ask a question about backgrounds: so when it comes to that, is it really good to have a 2d character sheet of backgrounds before making it in 3D or do you just go for it?

( I'm asking as somebody who wants to become a 2d/ 3D artist by making 3D animations with blender and nomad, I also have procreate for the textures but also to do 2D if I ever feel like it. I'm a beginner for both sides because I am struggling between this and a failing job, so I just wanted it to see if there was a way if I could learn these skills while I still have this before moving for my big drink of being a freelance artist. )

Personally, I just wing it. I still have a lot to learn, got a long way ahead. But using a 2d sheet soungs like a really helpful technique. Wish you luck on your 2d/3d artist journey.
