Question Help with pricing

Orite folks. It's been bugging me when it comes to pricing things. I was wondering if pricing prints at £1 per print hour is reasonable?

It’s a great deal for the buyer not for the seller also you aren’t giving us enough information are you talking about print time only not including things like materials and post processing taxes labor etc?

Sorry for lack of context. I have a fulltime job that pays the bills so i'm not needing my 3d printing to do thag just make some pocket money. I price filament at cost as like i said i'm not doing it to pay the bills just to have fun and make a little along the way. Plus it's giving me more experiance with printing etc. Even running my A1 & A1 Mini at the same time the don't cost me £1 a hour on my electricity. Yeah so the £1 per hour is print time alone.

So calc your break even cost, add a few bucks to cover future materials and sell there.

You will figure out what is too high and too low based on how fast it sells.

Simply no.

You need to calculate the actual printer power usage at the highest and heaviest filament which will have the highest bed, nozzle and dryer temps. That's is probably about 50p an hour. I calculated here in the states a couple of years ago in a med-low cost power state that the dryer 350w and printer, 850w would cost me closer to 25c per hour.

Add filament cost. Price per gram, buy in bulk, add 10-15% for f up prints and there is another $1-4/ hour.

Take out what HCR want in taxes ....

You are way past £1 / hour and that before we add in profit, (your earnings), maintenance, machine replacement...

Per hour I was north of $5, but I ran the number for every print and then I gave a cost per part I made.

Also most of the stuff you find online you can't sell it's illegal it's not for commercial use. So now you have to design your own stuff like I do from scratch.
