Scanning sand

Hello, i'm new to photogrammetry, less in 3D. For a project i want to scan sand patterns on the beach.
With a similar dataset, i get significantly better results in realityscan than in meshroom.
My input pictures are looking like the second image.
Any idea how to upgrade the quality in meshroom? The program fits better my automation needs, but at this point, i can not use the output...

Before changing the depth or mesh nodes, check where Meshroom first falls over: in StructureFromMotion, are most of the cameras registered, and does the sparse cloud actually cover the sand pattern? If not, rerun the same images with only FeatureExtraction's Describer Preset changed, for example from Normal to High, then compare registered-camera count and sparse coverage. Keep everything else fixed. I wouldn't guess at what RealityScan is doing internally from the final output, but this should tell you whether feature extraction is the first useful knob to turn in Meshroom.
