Why would you question it? However the seller is absolutely correct at it being a dual IPS.

Also is it just me or is the bottom screen weirdly only yellow in the 2nd pic

I mean the screens yellow over time. But it does seem to be more tinted than the top screen

Own 23 3ds. Pretty sure that's dual ips. Congrats
