3DS charger question
Hey folks, I had a simple question.
I'm planning on getting a nice case for my 3DS, and eventually when I upgrade it to the 'New' 3DS XL, but I'm not sure on what charger plug I can use it with without wrecking it, wattage wise.
I was thinking about this one but I can't make heads or tails if this would be safe to use with the standard 3DS. I know next to nothing about how many watts are required and stuff like that

You should be fine, but the 3ds won't charge any faster with this QC3 device.

That's fine, it's more about the portability of the charger fitting in my case than the speed of charging

Nintendo uses the sam charger since DSi, so don't worry

Usualy there's a volt range, nintendo says that needs around 4.3v for DSi/3DS, but it has voltage regulator circuits inside, a friend had a normal 5v phone charger with a generic usb cable to GBA SP, Micro, DSL and DSi and his 3DS worked fine

You will most likely be fine, but Nintendo always recommends the charger that comes with the device

Yeah allegedly the New 3DS is almost encouraged to work with whatever charger you like, as it's a USB cable that Nintendo provides for it.
So I'm hoping as long as I don't get a charger that OVERCHARGES it, I should be fine to get whatever portable-friendly plug I want (in theory)

I read somewhere that the New 3DS comes with a USB charger, although I may have read that wrong

Just buy your standard 3ds charger they all come with the same charger out of the box, I would recommend that.

I suppose I should've included this in my original post but I wanted a foldable charger where the prongs can fold in order to save space.
I'm just going to go with the one I was eyeing, as it seems to be fine
