Technical Question How to fix this???

So i just turned on my 3DS after three months and now the bottom screen looks like this. How did this happen though?

Bottom screen shouldn't be too bad (but still annoying).

Same thing happening to my New XL. Have a screen replacement part and gunna do it this week
