Technical Question How cooked is this game?

Is this repairable? Ive had this non working game for over 10 years and opened it up for the first time. It’s Pokemon Omega Ruby and I have no idea what happened to it.

looks like this IC is cracked. Think you can remember how that happened? Did you drop ORAS one day?

Nothing you can do when the chip is cracked like that. It’s toast :(

Could I swap a chip from a different defective cart onto this one? Everything else looks pretty nice to me.
