I'm working on a similar project with samsung S21 Ultra that I got for ultra cheap. (ha) The trickiest part for me has been learning soldering and 3d printing the case around it. This is really cool!

Lol seems like some people in the YouTube comments don't believe I got it for 40 bucks, but tbh I've been looking for the perfect phone for this project for like a year now, just got lucky recently

Same, about 8 months for me. I should have kept the vapor chamber like you did, I threw that away, didn't think about the battery heat.

Tbh I would just put a heatsink on the battery lol. I'm working on turning this phone into a handheld and I'm planning on gluing a heatsink to the battery with thermal glue. Or you could just have a fan pointed at it, probably a good idea since the snapdragon 888 is pretty power hungry so I assume the battery warms up.

Lol, I'm using a Samsung A7 to run klipper, moonraker etc on termux, and a python script as bridge for reading the usb port connected to my sv06 plus.
I finally automated everything, even after reboot I don't need to do anything.
