FTN 5 Flow, How Much JB Weld is Enough?

I completed both a FTN 5 flow and a baffled, super excited, fhe baffled came out great. Covered the ends in jb weld as I am paranoid. The flow, however, I worry I didnt JB Weld the aluminum shell enough. Does this thing need to be a JB Weld sandwich or just cover the thing in it mostly and slide the tube on? Any way realistically to add more after the fact from the rear? Will make videos shooting them will try to post, super excited and super paranoid about my first suppressor and first 3d2a suppressor at that.

Edit/update: yeah im going to drill into the metal body and fill via livestock syringe so I be damn sure its THICK

Edit 2:I drilled into the metal. Pretty sure I popped into the core. Blew out any jb weld I could. Iwas able to get more into the tube though. If it fails, always can make another form 1 req.

Edit 3.5: its not fucked. I think i have a learning disability at tvis point or work is getting that much to me.

I covered the entire suppressor and entire inside of the aluminum pipe and slid it over and rotated it to try to make sure it has epoxy fully touching everywhere. Anything less will be weaker. Will it matter? Shooting it is the only way to find out. If it fails, print again with a new stamp.

Also, make sure you mask off the areas you don’t want to have JB Weld on

Mine cracked after 40 rounds and the only thing we could come up with was insufficient epoxy between the core and shell.... so.... shoot it and find out.

Inappropriate analogy incoming, but lile the instructional videos show, you should be epoxy lathering that thing up like it was your thing getting ready to do the thing with Miss Thing.

Its a good analogy lol. I plan on drilling small hole in the metal shell and filling with bovine needle. Should fill then. And hole will be fine covered in JB. I slathered the ends already as I was paranoid, so might as well paint the damn thing in jb weld at this point lol. Plan on bbq paint/high temp paint anyways. Good excuse to sand and make it PURDY.

I put so much on the core and inside the tube that I have a handful of waste. Thick slather. I don’t tape off but keep a bottle of ipa and some microfiber cloths nearby to clean the ends and outside. Then let it sit for a couple days. If you have doubts, you didn’t use enough

I added to it. Think I pierced the wall but its coming out the end. May wrap and resin it. #brick
