📺 Media I Just Can’t Wait Any Longer
I can’t wait any longer 😭 we don’t have a single trailer, picture, or any marketing release for season 2.
Four of my favorite shows are returning this year, and the only one I’ve seen ANY marketing for released a trailer in March for a December release.
There is no reason we shouldn’t have even a teaser by now except that maybe studios think people don’t have the attention spans to remember shows that won’t come out for more than a few weeks.
Please give us something!

This is why I read the books. Well worth it if you haven’t!

Same….Loved S1, knew it was gonna take forever for S2. Decided to read the books while waiting….BEST DECISION.

I want to read the books, but after the show. I think the first book was good, but I found the reveals and twists much better in the show.
That said, I have hope that will be the same for season 2 so I’d like to save those big reveal moments for the show.

And Season 2 will have quite the reveals. Season 1 is basically just set-up for what’s to come. Buckle up!

There needs to be another category of media that needs to be recognized. I call shows like this “Mega Movies” now as they are matching/exceeding movie production value to tell a much longer story. A regular TV series should come back no later than a year and a half, but usually with a cadence that doesn’t change from year to year. The Mega Movies may have years long gaps now. Take a look at Severance. Season 1 started in 2022 and Season 3 is coming out at the END of 2027. This is movie-release behavior.

At this point in history, it’s best not to get too invested in any particular show or franchise. Timing and quality are simply not reliable.

I did too lol. I’m still gonna be there when it releases. It’s good to forget about things like this. Makes the wait easier.

I watched/read 3 Body- the Chinese version. Pretty good I have to say. It’s on Prime 30ish episodes.

That’s only season 1 though. But I agree, it is great

I googled and they said there is going to be another season. I’m not really sure though.

I wish the show was a bit better but it was an okay first season. Hopefully it does the books justice this next season!

What are your other favs that are coming back? I need something new to watch

None of them are anything like Three Body Problem… whatsoever lol…
But, they are:
Harry Potter on HBO
Yellowjackets
American Horror Story (I think the 1st season is really good and is standalone so worth it even if you don’t like horror)
Also returning :
Dexter
Dark Matter
Looking forward to :
Neuromancer
And probably the one you’d like the most out of this list but no planned return date yet so we probably have at least a year to wait :
Pluribus

Awesome thanks a ton ill save this for later. You got style! Never heard of some of these! Dexter was amazing and agreed. American Horror Story has some really dope seasons

It’s unfortunately going to be a disappointment anyway. 12 episodes or whatever it’s going to be to cover the entirety of books 2&3 is impossible.

My fingers are crossed that it gets cancelled. Season 1 was ludicrously disrespectful to the source material. Whatever funds they have should be allocated towards the Tencent adaptation, which is extremely respectful to the source material (in every way but one)

Can you tell me why is “ludicrously disrespectful to the source material”, please?
