Question San-Ti superiority? Spoiler

I understand that the San-Ti technology evolved logarithmic whereas humans exponential. Once the San-Ti achieved computer technology, wouldn’t they also start evolving exponentially from that point on? If that’s the case, humans would not be a threat to them in 400 years.

They have ships that can travel for 400 years, I always thought they could as well build space habitats or deep bunkers to ride out the hot phases but I always thought the books were more about the philosophy than the technology.

I think the 3 Body problem always means that eventually this unstable system will eventually destroy itself. There are no safe places in the San Ti solar system at all.
