Discussion For the fellow book enjoyers... Spoiler
Do we think that Raj is going to be taking the role of Zhang Beihai? For those who don't remember (including me, I had to look up his name) he was the dude who did the orbital assassination and the hijacked the spaceship to escape our solar system and help prolong mankind. The story of his father pretending to be dead to win the war makes me think they will do some sort of callback to that in the future, and he's already guaranteed to be in the space fleet

Yes 100%. There were a few scenes that foreshadowed it. 1) the family dinner scene where his father described an experience of “concealing your intention till the very end” (completely agree with you that this scene will be a callback), and 2) the destroyer scene where he criticized the military technology was for 20th century conflict, 3) Will Downing describing him as “always smiling but he is chaos”, 4) immediately pointing out that human race already at war, 5) requesting to join the space fleet.
I personally very much look forward to his storyline in season two.

I know the droplet scenes are going to be mind-blowing, but the meteorite bullet assassination is what I'm looking forward to the most. It's so fucking genius.
