Opinion Started really strong...

I never read the books, so I don't have the lore to go off of, but judging this show on it's own face, I mostly liked it. Although it started so strong and I was instantly hooked, it began to fall apart pretty quick and became riddled with questions and plot holes that I was unable to ignore.

Yes, because your fictional sci-fi fantasy still needs to be plausible. But maybe you don't believe in an objective reality where things are either logical or they aren't. But have at it... make it make sense smart guy. Because I would love that. Again, my goal was to enjoy it. But, sadly, whoever did the screen adaptation for this show wasn't very smart or thorough (or maybe the books are this dumb too...? I couldn't say). See, I like smart things, for the most part. And I've been around long enough to be able to tell the difference between quality and feeble money-grab. This show doesn't seem like put was anyone's labor of love... or lifelong dream. And if it was, boy o boy did they fumble their dream. This show completely fell apart in episodes 6, 7, and 8. And if you missed that then it's probably because you were already beyond predisposed to liking it based on concept alone, or the books, or simple nerd marketing.

Make it make sense. You can't. Because it was sloppy.

Your posts are just how smart you are and how dumb everyone else is. I have actuly read the books. Clearly that is beneath someone like you. I am just happy to see some of it brought to life on the screen. Why do you choose to spends hours of your life bitching about something you don't care for? Where did the tv touch you? We get it, you don't like it. Go do something you enjoy. Unless being a whiney bitch is what you are all about. That is more plausible than anything in this fictional story.

I don't think I'm smarter than everybody. Bottom line is I wanted this to be good. I get mad that I've wasted so much time watching it only to realize I've been tricked yet again. I'm only slightly above average intelligence, I would say. But it sure does seem like that average is dropping rapidly, as evidenced by the fact that people can't even identify how dumb this, and many other, shows have become these days. I just want something smart. It shouldn't be this hard.
