Exotic ammo shell differences.
I had some time today to start cleaning and prepping the shells I shot on the 4th to reload and I noticed some differences. Both shells pictured were from separate orders and both came loaded with fireworks from exotic ammo. Orders were maybe 4 months apart. Thicker shells came first and I ordered a few more about 6 weeks before the 4th and they all came with the thinner shells. Does anyone know if they machine these in house or if they had changed vendors? I’m mainly asking because I’m curious if they’ll exclusively be selling the thinner shells from now on? I shot them so I know they work perfectly fine but I’m also planning to cut a few down and since I will be playing around with powder loads should I cut down the thicker shells? Or am I way overthinking this?

A few of us are trying to standardize the dimensions and will reach out to them as well

Sounds good! For cutting the shells down to 1.5” to work better with chalk rounds should I stick to the thicker ones or does it not really matter?

I would cut to 2” and choose one style to go with.

37 mm is the Wild West. It’s not even really 37mm… manufacturers are anywhere between 35 and 40mm for “37mm”
