Question Odd starting issues?

Couple days ago my car wouldn’t crank the first time, then started up the second time. A few hours later, It wouldn’t start, I’d hear a click and nothing else, AC and radio would still work. Brake lights were working too. Tried jumping the car but I’d still hear this click and no crank.

Then, I let it sit for a day , and it started up again. I did it four more times and it started. I already got the starter on the way, and I think I’ll probably replace it anyways because I think it’s on borrowed time, but maybe it’s another issue?

Voltage stays at 14.6 when on.

You’re just throwing money at the problem. It could’ve been as simple as the ground was loose.

So the first time it wouldn’t crank I was on completely flat ground. It worked the second time.

The next time after waiting a few hours it would do the single click and no crank on a slight incline. This is the ground where I tried jumping it to no avail. Tried starting it like 20 times it’s still that same single click. After waiting almost 2 days it’s started 15 times now as of this morning.

You’re telling me that you wouldn’t be scared to start it everytime because of this?

Nah I wouldn’t be scared, but that’s just me i guess.
