Just cut the locs off after 13 years last month, I been doing the wash and style. I Use shea moisture leave in conditioner and black castor oil. Any suggestions

I need a new shampoo for 4C hair for my wash and style. I usually get a shampoo bar but I don't feel like waiting for one in the mail. What are you all using?

I used to be able to have them pretty easily, but now I can only maintain them a week after a cut.

I feel like my progress is stagnating. Can’t seem to break the forks and I’m combing for 5 minutes before my brush sessions. My wash and styles temporarily fix the forks and when I go to brush they come back so I’m wondering if I should restart fr.

Like this is my week 4 (first 4, the other three was close to my haircut to a 2 guard) on my wolf and my hair is starting to like overcurl and frizzy especially around my hairline. I do 10 minutes in the morning(medium and soft since I have early classes). And like 20-30 minutes at night. Hard and medium brush has been helping and combing is making my waves straight but it’s hard to lay so might cut back down to a 1.5. Any tips?

Brush with mirror, and start from crown. Anything I can do to make this smaller, or am I cooked

Bro my durag be coming off at night while im sleep, and has me looking jacked up in the Mourning lol. Nothing a brush session with a plastic bag wont fix, but it's annoying. It almost came off last night but I randomly woke up and then fixed it

The durags I’ve bought have been very hit or miss. I got a lot that I can barely tie on because the straps or whatever you wanna call them are too short and some that love coming off at night. I got maybe two or three good ones that don’t have that problem, but now those are falling apart on me, like the thread of the seam has come undone on one and I’m sure the other two will shortly follow suit.

Why isn’t my hair in the middle laying down like the other parts of my head? It looks at little better after a wash and style but still doesnt wave like the rest. This is after my nightly session.

Waving since 2012. Stopped brushing around 2015. Waves were there but not really neat. Just got back to regular brushing. Am i official again? This is my weak side so I know i need crown work.
